The operation of such an instrument requires no external energy supply. This is the bimetallic or gas-pressure thermometer. Remote temperature reading In this case, the information is sent to and indicated at a place other than that in which the measuring device is located. In this case, thermo-electric sensors requiring a 24V power supply are used.
